Middle School Volleyball Coach 23857 Ronald W Reagan Boulevard, Liberty Hill, TX 78642 Seasonal Seasonal Middle School Head Volleyball Coach (August 3, 2026-October 24, 2026) The Head Coach of the Middle School Volleyball Team is responsible for planning practices, fostering a positive team culture, and coaching student-athletes in strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition The coach motivates student athletes to develop an appreciation of the sport. The Middle School head coach works under the direction of the Athletic Director as well as the HS Volleyball coach to maintain a successful, competitive, and compliant program. I trust God has a good plan for me, so I take big chances and try new things. Duties Plan, organize, and conduct practices and training sessions. Attend all scheduled MS games and practices unless otherwise approved by the Athletic Director. Teach fundamental and advanced skills and strategies pertinent to the sport. Collaborate with the HS Volleyball coach to ensure players are being prepared in line with DSA's High School Team. Build and maintain a positive, respectful, and competitive team environment. Communicate with the Athletic Director and HS volleyball coach, when concerns arise with players or coaches in the program. Along with the other coaches, communicate with families any pertinent information. Communicate regularly with the Athletic Director any wants/needs or any support needed. Ensure adherence to all school, conference, and governing body rules and regulations. Care and maintenance of program equipment and facilities. Requirements Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills Minimum of 1-3 years of coaching experience; preferably at the middle school, club, or HS level Prior competitive playing experience at the high school or collegiate level is strongly preferred, as it demonstrates a deep understanding of the game.
