About Us:

Plano Sports Authority (PSA) is a premier youth recreational and club sports organization committed to providing a positive and development-focused environment. Our soccer program focuses on skill development, sportsmanship, and building confident young athletes. We're growing our club soccer program and are looking for dedicated, high-energy coaches ready to grow with us.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking soccer coaches who: Have coaching experience at the club, high school, or college level. Have playing experience (club, high school, or college). Are dependable, enthusiastic, and strong communicators. Embrace mentorship, structure, and team-building. Thrive in a competitive but supportive youth sports environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a competitive soccer team throughout the club season. Assist with team formation, including tryouts and player evaluations. Design and implement structured, purposeful training sessions. Maintain a positive and disciplined team culture. Communicate effectively with parents, players, and staff. Attend scheduled games and tournaments and manage game-day logistics. Collaborate with PSA's soccer leadership team to ensure consistency in coaching philosophy.

Program Expectations:

As a coach in PSA's soccer program, you are expected to: Attend club-wide meetings, staff trainings, and seasonal team evaluations. Maintain current compliance with all league and PSA requirements, including: Background check SafeSport certification (as required) Continued education or licensing encouraged

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of coaching experience at the club level. Demonstrated ability to develop and motivate youth players. Availability for evening practices and weekend games/tournaments. Passion for youth development and the game of soccer.
