No Job Summary/Description Leads all aspects of the intercollegiate women's soccer program. Oversees recruiting, student-athlete development, training and conditioning, scheduling, practice planning, competition preparation, and academic progress. Typical Duties/Job Duties Directs day-to-day operations of the women's soccer program, including scheduling contests, coordinating travel, and managing equipment purchasing and inventory. Adheres to established budget guidelines and oversees program resources. Recruits, develops, and retains qualified student-athletes. Monitors academic progress and eligibility. Supervises assistant coaches, graduate assistants, student workers, and volunteers. Implements strategies to build and sustain a competitive program. Supports departmental fundraising efforts and promotes community engagement opportunities for student-athletes. Ensures full compliance with NCAA, LSC, Angelo State University, and Texas Tech University System policies and regulations. Represents Angelo State University and its athletics program in a positive manner at the local, regional, and national levels. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of intercollegiate women's soccer. Ability to train an develop student-athletes. Ability to motivate student-athletes. Skills in planning, organizing, and implementing programs necessary to build and conduct a successful women's intercollegiate soccer program. Skills in interpersonal relationships. Strong support and adherence to the "Core Values" of Angelo State University and the athletic department. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Demonstrated successful women's soccer coaching experience. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Successful intercollegiate women's soccer coaching experience. Previous NCAA Division II coaching experience.
