Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Youth Sports Coach, where your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young athletes to develop their skills, foster teamwork, and cultivate a lifelong love for sports. In this energetic role, you will lead youth sports programs across various disciplines, creating a positive and engaging environment that promotes physical activity, sportsmanship, and personal growth. Your passion for coaching and dedication to health and fitness will help shape confident, motivated young individuals ready to excel both on and off the field. Duties Plan and deliver age-appropriate sports training sessions that emphasize skill development, teamwork, and enjoyment Lead youth teams during practices and competitions, ensuring safety and fair play at all times Foster a supportive environment that encourages participation, confidence, and sportsmanship among young athletes Assess players' abilities and provide constructive feedback to promote improvement Collaborate with parents, guardians, and program coordinators to communicate progress and address any concerns Organize fun activities that enhance physical fitness while emphasizing proper body mechanics and physiology principles Maintain equipment, ensure safety protocols are followed, and keep accurate records of attendance and performance Requirements Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching youth in a team environment Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics relevant to sports training Strong understanding of program design tailored to different age groups and skill levels Ability to motivate children while maintaining discipline and fostering teamwork Excellent communication skills to engage with young athletes, parents, and colleagues effectively Certifications in first aid or CPR are preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain upon hire is expected Passion for health club activities, group fitness instruction, or personal training is a plus Join us in making a positive impact through energetic coaching that empowers youth to reach their full potential!
Pay:
$18.09 - $26.60 per hour
