Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Swim Instructor and inspire confidence and skill in swimmers from 4 months of age to adult all year long! In this energetic role, you will deliver high energy, engaging, safe, and effective swimming instruction that promotes water safety and strong stroke technique in a fun class setting. Whether working with children or adults, your enthusiasm and expertise will help foster a positive learning environment that encourages progress and builds lifelong skills. This position offers flexible hours perfect for those passionate about teaching, sports coaching, or working with students in a vibrant aquatic setting. Duties Lead structured swimming lessons using a proprietary curriculum that encompasses various skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers, including special needs Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and water safety protocols clearly and confidently Demonstrate excellent customer service when interacting with customers and swimmers Monitor and track participants' progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust instruction accordingly Enforce safety rules diligently Foster a fun, inclusive atmosphere that motivates students to improve their skills and enjoy the water Maintain cleanliness and safety of the pool environment, ensuring equipment is in good condition Qualifications Prior swim instruction experience is required Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and adults of diverse ages and backgrounds Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster positive learning experiences Certifications in CPR, First Aid and AED WSI certification is desired but not mandatory Bilingual - Spanish is highly desirable
Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
