Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Head Boys Volleyball Coach to lead and develop our high school boys volleyball program. The coach will be responsible for organizing practices, developing student-athletes' volleyball skills, promoting sportsmanship, and fostering a positive team culture both on and off the court.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and supervise all aspects of the boys volleyball program. Develop and implement effective practice plans, game strategies, and skill development. Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, and academic success among student-athletes. Supervise athletes during practices, games, travel, and team activities. Communicate effectively with players, parents, administration, and athletic department staff. Ensure compliance with school, district, and UHSAA policies and procedures. Maintain inventory and proper care of equipment and uniforms.

Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of volleyball fundamentals, techniques, and game strategy. Ability to work effectively with and motivate high school athletes. Previous coaching and/or playing experience preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Must be able to pass a background check.

Requirements:

Candidate must complete all required new hire paperwork and the following within 2 weeks of hire and prior to beginning coaching duties: Completion of all required UHSAA coaching courses
