Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tumbling Coach and ignite the passion for acrobatics, gymnastics, and physical excellence! In this energetic role, you will inspire and guide athletes of all ages to master tumbling techniques, develop strength, flexibility, and confidence, while fostering a safe and motivating environment. Whether working with beginners or advanced students, your enthusiasm and expertise will help elevate their skills and love for movement. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape talented athletes and promote healthy, active lifestyles through engaging coaching. Duties Design and implement comprehensive tumbling training programs tailored to individual skill levels and goals Teach proper technique for flips, rolls, handsprings, back handsprings, and other acrobatic skills Monitor athletes' progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust training plans accordingly Ensure safety protocols are followed during all training sessions to prevent injuries Foster a positive environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and personal growth Assist with warm-up routines, stretching exercises, and conditioning drills to enhance flexibility and strength Maintain equipment safety checks and ensure the training area remains clean and organized Qualifications Prior experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education, preferably with tumbling or gymnastics background Lifeguard experience or certifications are a plus for safety awareness in active environments Knowledge of martial arts such as Karate or Judo is beneficial for understanding body control and discipline Experience working with children or students in a childcare or educational setting Strong skills in behavior management to motivate young athletes and maintain focus during sessions Familiarity with sports like cheerleading, basketball, climbing, swimming or health club environments is advantageous Passion for teaching physical activity with an energetic approach that inspires confidence and fun Join us to help athletes reach new heights!
