As a Junior Tennis Instructor, you will play a vital role in fostering a fun, safe, and educational environment for our junior members, helping to grow their passion for the game while supporting the club s commitment to excellence and community.
Job Summary:
ANCC is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Junior Tennis Instructor to assist in delivering high-quality instructional programs for junior players of all skill levels. This seasonal role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about tennis, enjoys working with youth, and has a strong desire to develop their teaching and coaching skills.
Job Duties:
Assist with junior tennis clinics, camps, and private lessons under the guidance of the Director of Tennis and senior staff. Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate drills, games, and instructional activities. Help foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes sportsmanship, skill development, and fun. Supervise children during programs to ensure safety and appropriate behavior at all times. Maintain tennis courts and equipment, ensuring a clean and organized environment. Assist with event preparation and operations for junior tournaments, socials, and team matches. Provide exceptional customer service to members and their families, addressing inquiries and communicating program updates as needed.
Qualification Standards:
Prior experience working with children in a sports or instructional setting preferred. Basic knowledge of tennis techniques, rules, and scoring. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with youth and parents. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed for camp and clinic schedules. Enthusiastic, team-oriented, and dependable. Current CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
