Job Description
ASSISTANT WOMEN'S BASKETBALL COACH
Bridgewater College, a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III, is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Women's Basketball Coach, to begin immediately. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Head Women's Basketball Coach.RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting the head coach in all facets of a Division III women's basketball program Assisting the head coach with budget management Recruiting prospective student-athletes who fit the mission and culture of the program and the College Assisting the head coach with game day preparation Organizing & conducting on-court coaching during practices and games Developing detailed scouting reports for game opponents Providing mentoring and support for the student-athletes, particularly in regards to academics and player development Ability to execute program related tasks as assigned by the head coach Complying with all NCAA, conference and college policies and regulations.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred. Prior collegiate coaching experience and/or competitive collegiate playing experience required. Strong communication skills Basic competency in Microsoft Office applications is required. Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable by the college's auto insurance carrier Pay is competitive, and salary is commensurate with experience. This full-time position offers a full benefits package, including paid tuition at the College for eligible dependents.GENERAL INFORMATION
