Varsity Girls Basketball Coach

Position Overview:

Banner Christian School is seeking a Varsity Girls Basketball Coach to lead and develop student-athletes in a Christ-centered environment. The coach will be responsible for building a competitive program while emphasizing skill development, discipline, teamwork, and character.

Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct practices and skill development sessions Coach games and implement team systems, strategy, and in-game adjustments Develop individual and team performance Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration Ensure compliance with school and conference policies

Schedule Requirements:

Flexible schedule required, including regular evening and weekend hours for practices, games, and tournaments.

Qualifications:

Previous playing and/or coaching experience preferred (basketball experience strongly preferred) Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to mentor and develop student-athletes in a Christ-centered environment Commitment to the mission and values of Banner Christian School Successful completion of a background check is required Preferred /

Bonus Qualifications:

CPR and First Aid certification Coaching certifications or relevant basketball training

Pay:

$3,000.00 per year
