Job description The assistant coach is responsible for the oversight of day-to-day functions of the team as directed by the head coach. Must abide by all NCAA and University rules and regulations. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Assist head coach with team practices and competitions. Assist with the planning, organizing, and implementing team practice. Assist with recruitment at home and on the road. Assist with team needs assigned by the head coach or other staff members. Assist with communication with Champion Performance team. Manage and organize equipment along with managers. Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU's mission. Strictly adheres to Liberty University policies, representing the University in an exemplary manner. Qualifications, Credentials, and Competencies Four-year college degree, experience coaching at the Division I level. Strong leadership skills. Ability to communicate and function effectively within a team setting. Time Type Full time Location Onsite The University is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
