All responsibilities will be under the leadership of the Head Coach and/or the Director of Athletics.

Virginia Beach, VA Essential Duties:
Assist student-athletes in obtaining spiritual growth and track academic progress. Provide appropriate advice and assistance to help ensure the success of each student-athlete's spiritual development and completed stated program of study Instruction of student-athletes - teaching sport-specific skills, tactics, and techniques required per team and individualized workouts, practices, and games Report any known or suspected violations of the NCAA and/or university rules by head coach, assistant coach(es), student-athletes, staff, etc. promptly to the Director of Athletics Assist in organizing and supervising all practices, games, and other workout sessions for the team. Assist head coach in the instruction and coaching of student athletes Evidence of a thorough understanding of the rules and regulations governing intercollegiate competition and adhere to the rules and standards established by NCAA Abide by and comply with the constitution, bylaws, and interpretations of the NCAA and university rules and regulations relating to the conduct and administration of the program Assist recruiting student-athletes who are mission fit, academically solid, and athletically skilled Adhere to, support, and follow the academic standards and requirements of the university regarding the recruiting and eligibility of prospective and current student-athletes Assist the head coach in promoting community service projects for the team to complete the mission of the NCAA, Regent Athletic Department and Regent University Assume other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and/or the
Director of Athletics Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred One or more years of successful high school, college, or private coaching experience is preferred Proven ability to communicate effectively one-on-one, in small groups, and in public speaking contexts Proven ability to communicate ideas and priorities effectively to promote teamwork and achieve desired results Demonstrated strategic planning skills and an ability to assess the team's competitive strengths and vulnerabilities Demonstrated skill in making strategic recommendations to enhance the team's performance Ability to work a flexible and irregular schedule Candidates must have: Strong relationship with Jesus Christ.
