Job Description
Our organization is looking for an experienced Head Coach to lead one of our youth girls basketball teams. Our program has teams at the 4th-8th grade levels. This position is for the 2026/2027 Fall/Winter season (October 2026 to March 2027). There will be practices twice a week. The practices will be in the evenings on Tue and Thu night and last ~1.5 hours. When we have games, they will be on the weekends. If interested, there will be opportunities to continue coaching in the Spring and Summer seasons as well. There will be approximately 25 games consisting of tournaments and league play. The ideal candidate will have sound basketball knowledge (either playing or coaching) and experience working with girls at this age level. The Head Coach will be responsible for creating a positive environment, managing the team's performance, and leading by example. We are looking for someone who is passionate about coaching and has the ability to motivate players to reach their highest potential.
