In this role, you will lead kids ages 2-13 years old in various sports activities, promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical fitness, and ensure a safe, fun environment for children of all skill levels. Your passion for sports and youth development will help foster confidence, discipline, and a love for physical activity among participants. Responsibilities Plan and deliver dynamic sports coaching sessions across multiple disciplines such as basketball, soccer, flag football, T-ball, martial arts (karate, judo), tennis, and other physical education activities. Foster a positive environment that encourages teamwork, respect, and personal growth among children and teenagers. Monitor and manage behavior to ensure safety and maintain discipline during all activities. Demonstrate proper techniques in sports skills ensure safety and basic skill development. Communicate effectively with program manager regarding child progress and behavior. Maintain equipment, facilities, and safety protocols to create a secure environment for all participants. Support the development of children's physical skills while promoting healthy habits and active lifestyles. Experience Previous experience working with children or students in a sports or recreational setting is highly preferred. Proven background in sports coaching or teaching physical education across various disciplines such as basketball, cheerleading, martial arts (karate, judo), or gymnastics. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to handle diverse age groups effectively. Certification in first aid or CPR is advantageous but not mandatory. A passion for mentoring youth through sports combined with excellent communication skills will set you apart as a candidate.
