Basketball Full Job Description Our Mission:

Position Description:

Our coaches support the district mission by: Coaching and developing players in the Middle School Girls Basketball program Assisting the head coach with practices and supervision of athletes Expectation that the assistant coach will support the High School varsity head coach to help build a 7-12 cohesive program

Terms of Employment:

October 19, 2026 - December 9, 2026 Must be available each weekday after school at 3:30 p.m. for practices and home games Flexibility to leave the school earlier for games depending on travel time Current CPR/First-Aid card on file prior to the first day of coaching athletes Successful candidate must submit a Washington State Sexual Misconduct Disclosure and undergo state and background checks including fingerprinting at the applicant's expense

Salary Range:

$2,000 - $2,783, depending on experience

Benefits:

Eligible employees may accrue sick leave at the rate of one (1) hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked under Washington state law. Upon working 630 hours in a school year, eligible employees may be eligible for insurance benefits through School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB) which includes, medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance.

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent 19 years of age or older Experience playing basketball and understanding the basic rules and fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications:
