Job Description

SUMMARY This position will be responsible for designing and implementing basketball training programs for players at the beginner level up to and including college-level players. Our facility is a membership-based basketball gym in which personal training is an optional add-on. We need someone with the skill and expertise to build an effective book of business as a trainer - in other words, they need both sales skills and basketball training skills. The goal of this position is to make Shoot 360 Madison the go-to place for local basketball players looking for private training. Additionally, the Head Trainer will conduct small-group classes, work camps, and serve as a Floor Coach - providing ad hoc guidance to members in the facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the General Manager and AGM in the success & growth of the facility Design and implement effective training programs for players of all skills levels, and drive sign-ups for training Perform duties as the right-hand to the General Manager to support the success of the facility

EXPERIENCE
Experience as a private basketball trainer working in 1:1 and small group situations Basketball coaching experience at any level H.S diploma or
GED LANGUAGE SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
There could be standing for a long period of time (up to 3 hours) Ability to move equipment in the form of pushing on wheels, of up to 30 pounds Ability to climb a ladder Ability to replace cables if necessary Ability to run, job, walk, bend, climb, and stand in place
