Build a culture. Drive results. Make your mark. We're looking for a high-energy, leadership-driven Head Coach to take the reins at our flagship Orangetheory studio in Madison. This isn't a side gig or just another class schedule—it's a true leadership role at the pinnacle of group fitness.
What You'll Do:
Coach 15-20 high-energy, science-backed group classes per week Lead, train, and mentor a team of 5-6 elite fitness coaches Own 20-25 weekly hours of leadership: coaching development, KPI tracking, team meetings, member experience, and studio performance Cultivate an achievement-driven studio culture that's fun, motivating, and rooted in results Support membership growth through energy, conversion, and retention Organize community challenges, events, and partnerships that make the studio a local movement
Compensation & Perks:
Total potential compensation: $50,000-$100,000 Combination of hourly pay, class coaching pay, and performance-based bonuses tied to KPIs and membership growth Complimentary Orangetheory membership Career development and advancement opportunities Leadership coaching and ongoing professional training
Who You Are:
Certified through NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, or NSCA Experienced in group fitness coaching and creating high-impact sessions A natural leader with strong communication skills and team-building instincts Motivated by performance metrics, goal setting, and leading from the front Experienced in sales, performance-based environments, or studio management (preferred) Familiar with the Orangetheory workout or brand (strongly preferred) Why This Studio? Requirements:
Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness Be AED/CPR certified Job is expected to work approximately 35-40 hours per week Must be flexible - able to work early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed
Compensation and Benefits:
Total Target salary: Expected $50,000 min up to $100,000 with performance based bonus structure Free premier membership to Orangetheory Fitness ($169/mo value) Free Heart Rate Monitor ($109 value) Up to 2 weeks paid time off Specific job duties and selection requirements vary between Orangetheory studio locations and more details can be provided by the studio's hiring manager if you are selected to move forward in the interview process.
