Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our facility. This role is responsible for designing and implementing performance programs that enhance athletic development, reduce injury risk, and support overall physical preparedness. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with athletes of varying ages and skill levels and thrives in a high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement individualized and group strength and conditioning programs tailored to athletes' sport, position, and performance goals Conduct fitness assessments, movement screenings, and performance testing Teach proper exercise techniques and ensure safe training practices at all times Collaborate with coaches, athletic trainers, and other staff to support athlete development and injury prevention Monitor athlete progress and adjust programs based on performance data and feedback Maintain accurate training records and reports Foster a positive, disciplined, and athlete-focused training environment Stay current with industry trends, research, and best practices in strength and conditioning
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Athletic Training, or a related field (required) 2 years experience working with athletes in a team or private training setting Strong knowledge of strength training principles, program design, and sports performance
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification from a recognized organization CPR/AED certification Experience with performance testing technologies and data tracking tools Background in coaching specific sports or working with youth, collegiate, or professional athletes

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and engage athletes High level of professionalism and accountability Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach
Physical Requirements:
Ability to demonstrate exercises and lift/move equipment as needed Ability to stand, walk, and coach for extended periods
Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
