Job Description
Kids Soccer Coach (Ages 2-7) Overview Join our team as a Kids Soccer Coach and help introduce young children to the game of soccer in a fun, positive, and supportive environment. This position focuses on coaching children ages 2-7 years old , helping them develop basic soccer skills, coordination, confidence, teamwork, and a love for physical activity. Classes are 60 minutes long and are typically held in the evenings . This is a flexible, part-time position that can often be worked around your existing school, work, or personal schedule. Responsibilities Lead fun, age-appropriate soccer classes for children ages 2-7 Create a positive and engaging environment where children feel encouraged to participate and learn Teach basic soccer skills through games and activities designed for young players Build strong relationships with both children and parents through professional and friendly communication Maintain a safe, organized, and energetic class environment Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, listening skills, and confidence development Manage class behavior in a positive and constructive manner Set up and organize equipment before and after classes Provide updates to parents regarding their child's participation and progress when needed Qualifications Experience working with children in coaching, teaching, childcare, camps, or youth programs preferred Soccer experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate Strong communication skills with both children and parents Patient, energetic, reliable, and enthusiastic personality Ability to engage and motivate young children in a group setting Dependable transportation and punctuality Available to work evening classes during weekdays and/or weekends What We Offer Flexible scheduling that can often be adjusted around your availability Fun and rewarding work environment Opportunity to positively impact young children's development Paid coaching position Training and support provided
