Assistant Professor of Economics

Hendrix College invites applications for a 3-year visiting position in the area of Economics within the Economics and Business Departmentto begin in August 2026. The College seeks to extend its tradition of excellence in teaching and scholarship by attracting faculty whocombine mastery of their disciplines with broad intellectual interests and commitment to the aims of a liberal arts college. Primaryteaching duties will include introductory and upper level Economics courses such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, EconomicResearch, and upper-level Economics electives. Electives such as Health Economics, Environmental Economics, Industrial Organization,Behavioral Economics, or Advanced Microeconomics or Advanced Macroeconomics are of particular interest. The normal teaching load is threecourses per semester. The terminal degree requirement is a Ph.D. in Economics; ABD will be considered.
