Summary of Job Duties:

The Department of Political Science in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Arkansas, invites applications for a non-tenure track Teaching Assistant Professor of Judicial Politics to start in August 2026. This is a standard nine-month faculty appointment. The individual in this position will teach three courses a semester in American National Government and law-related political science courses. They will also assist the department's pre-law advisor in informing students about the law school admissions process and legal careers and serve as faculty advisors for pre-law student organizations. The individual in this position is also expected to participate in research activity, serve the department by participating in departmental committees, and supervise undergraduate honors students.
