Summary of Job Duties:
Candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate classes in criminal justice, including general education courses and courses in the candidate's field of specialization. Preference will be given to applicants who have teaching or research experience in one or more of the following fields: policing, law and legal practice, research methods, or fields that otherwise compliment current department strengths. Interest in engaging students in undergraduate research is highly desirable. Candidates will be expected to teach in person on the UAM campus; experience with online teaching and field experience in areas of specialization is highly desirable.Qualifications:
A doctorate in Criminal Justice from an accredited program or a doctorate in a closely related field. ABD candidates or master's degree holders may be considered at the instructor level. Candidates are expected to begin August 2026.Additional Information:
