Assistant/Associate Professor Positions in Biology

The Faculty of Natural Sciences at Karabakh University invites applications for full-time faculty positions at the Assistant Professoror Associate Professor level in Biology . Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be expected to: Develop an independent researchprogram and lead a research group; Supervise undergraduate and graduate students in research projects and thesis work; Conduct high-quality research and publish results in reputable scientific journals; Present research findings at national andinternational conferences; Establish research collaborations with local and international academic and industry partners; Apply for national and international research grants and other external funding opportunities; Prepare course syllabi,teach assigned courses, and assess student learning and academic progress; Develop and update laboratory manuals and otherteaching materials; Participate in faculty social, community, and educational events.

MinimumQualifications Applicants must have:

A Ph.D. degree in Physics, Biology, or a closely related field; Aproven record of scientific publications, including at least one first-author publication; The ability to propose originalresearch ideas and manage research projects; The ability to initiate and sustain interdisciplinary research collaborations; English proficiency at a minimum of C1 level; Ability to work with learning management systems; Strongcommunication, leadership, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given tocandidates with: Postdoctoral research experience; Previous teaching experience or relevant experience in academia orindustry; Experience supervising undergraduate and/or graduate students.
