  • The Department of Neurology at the Yale School of Medicine seeks to hire General Neurologists or subspecialty trained neurologist with interest in General Neurology at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor
  • Faculty in the Division of General Neurology evaluate and treat all neurological conditions.
They are the major access point for care for patients with neurological conditions across the region. With the launch of the Brain Health Initiative, the Neurology department is committed to comprehensive neurologic care across the lifespan, access to groundbreaking research and the latest therapies. The division includes faculty practices as well as the Yale Neurology Resident Clinics. The Resident Clinics offer specialized care in general neurology and stroke and includes the Neurology Urgent Access Clinic (NUAC). The goal of NUAC is to allow expedited evaluation of patients seen in the emergency room as well as those referred from physicians requiring an urgent assessment. Yale Neurology has also recently developed a resident track in general neurology, focused on the comprehensive training of residents dedicated to providing the highest level of outpatient care across the spectrum of neurological disorders. The Division of General Neurology is embedded within the Neurology department with the breadth of subspecialty care. We provide a highly collaborative, supportive, and mentored environment that promotes specialists to pursue career growth within their specific area of interest. This position offers applicants an exciting opportunity for individual programmatic development and goal discovery across varied academic interests within our division and department. Rank will be based on education and experience. We anticipate faculty applicants to be dedicated to the education of the next generation of master clinicians, educators, and researchers.
  • We seek motivated academic physicians with expertise in: 1) the care of adult general neurology patients, 2) participation in clinical trials, 3) opportunities to teach and mentor. Practice locations are located in New Haven, Fairfield and New London Counties.
  • Candidates must have an MD or equivalent and be board certified/board eligible in Neurology and may have subspecialty fellowship training. Applicants must meet the criteria for medical licensure in the State of Connecticut. Faculty rank will be based on experience.
  • It is an exciting time to join Yale Neurology with the upcoming opening of The Adams Neurosciences Center at Yale New Haven Hospital. The ANC will serve as an integrated inpatient academic hub for the diagnosis, treatment, and investigation of complex neurological and neurosurgical disorders and serve as a major access point of patients requiring continuing outpatient care.
  • Anchored in advanced translational research and multidisciplinary clinical expertise, the Center will provide comprehensive, evidence-based care across the full spectrum of medical and surgical therapies.
Through the integration of clinical innovation, emerging technologies, and collaborative research, the Center will advance scientific discovery while delivering highly individualized treatment strategies aimed at improving patient outcomes in disorders of the brain and nervous system.
