182455 The University of Chicago's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology/Section of Gynecologic Oncology and Dr. Lengyel's Translational Research Laboratory seeks a research appointee at any rank (Research Assistant Professor or Research Associate Professor or Research Professor) whose primary activity will be experimental research in association with a faculty member or team. The appointee will contribute to research projects exploring various aspects of the biology of ovarian cancer. The applicants' publication record in experimental tumor biology and their ability to obtain extramural funding will be considered in the selection process. Academic rank and compensation are dependent on qualifications. This position is benefits eligible. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a PhD or MD degree in tumor biology or a related discipline 2) have completed postdoctoral training and have at least 3 years of postdoctoral experience. We especially welcome applicants with expertise in tumor biology, metastasis research, proteomics, or organoid cultures, as Dr. Lengyel's research laboratory in the Center for Integrative Science focuses on the investigation of new therapies for the treatment of ovarian cancer. His research is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
