June 2026 Join our CAATE-accredited Master of Athletic Training (MAT) program as a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor . This 12‑month faculty role carries primary teaching responsibilities within the graduate athletic training program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service; contribute to an innovative and collaborative academic culture; and serve as a professional role model for aspiring athletic trainers.What You'll Do:
Teach graduate athletic training and related coursework; develop and refine curriculum. Assess student learning and implement ongoing improvements. Maintain professional effectiveness through scholarship, integrity, and current knowledge. Participate in faculty meetings, governance, and committee work. Advise and mentor students; support student organizations as assigned. Engage in scholarly work and present findings through publications or presentations. Contribute to program development, departmental collaboration, and community/professional engagement. Represent the program at professional and community events. Perform additional duties as assigned.What You'll Need:
Doctorate in Athletic Training or a related field preferred. Credentials supporting Assistant/Associate Professor appointment. Current BOC certification and Indiana AT licensure (or eligibility). Ability to teach exercise science and graduate athletic training courses. College-level teaching experience in a CAATE-accredited program preferred. Strong communication, feedback, and collaboration skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods and support diverse learners. Strong organization, time management, and student-centered approach.
