Job Description

South, 1500 E. Medical Center Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48109-5364. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan is seeking a PhD level faculty member to collaborate with the Pelvic Floor Research Group. This position will be dry, without effort for research collaboration only. PhD required along with three or more years of postdoctoral training in a Women's Health related field. Must have a demonstrated clinical interest in pelvic floor disorders including pelvic floor organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and surface electromyography. A history of participation on funded studies is required. Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses. Employment will require both a criminal background check and an institutional reference check regarding any misconduct. Candidates will be required to submit a self-disclosure form as well as an authorization to release information form.
