Job Description:
The Educational Leadership
Doctoral Program of The Esteves School of Education at Russell Sage College invites applications for a full-time faculty position, at the
rank of Assistant Professor of the Practice in the Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership, effective for the Fall 2026 semester.
Candidates should be prepared to teach in any cohort location (Albany, NYC, or Long Island) as needed and be comfortable teaching and
working with students online. The estimated base academic year salary for this position is $65,000, commensurate with experience.

Minimum Requirements:
The successful
candidate will possess an earned Doctorate in Education or a related field from an accredited institution and certification as a school
district leader. The position requires experience as a school superintendent or in another systemwide leadership position associated with
education, along with a record of successful leadership. The candidate will be responsible for teaching graduate courses in educational
leadership and supervising doctoral dissertations. Candidates should be prepared to teach in any cohort location (Albany, NYC, or Long
Island) as needed and be comfortable teaching and working with students online. Preferred
Requirements:
In addition to minimum requirements, the preferred candidate will have previous teaching experience in higher
education at the graduate level, preferably in educational leadership programs. Further, the preferred candidate will have experience with
