Cultivate student's curiosity for the field of study and applications in career fields. Mentor students for internship and career advice. Develop partnerships with the business community. Essential Responsibilites Teach courses as assigned, determined by needs and/or expertise. Assist in curriculum development and instructional advancement in the related fields of Social & Behavioral Science. Assess the instructional needs of students int he program and help coordinate developing a plan to address these needs. Cultivate strategic relationships with community practitioners related to Social & Behavioral Science. As applicable, participate in School/University committees, planning sessions, and accreditation site visits. Participate in scholarship to teaching, application, and the integration and discovery of knowledge through research and/or professional practice. Minimum Education/Experience Master's degree in field of study with an undergraduate degree in the same or similar field of study Professional and scholarly accomplishments deemed exemplary and sufficient, or an individual who has an approved dissertation topic. Teaching experience at the higher education level. Business managerial experience. Business experience. Preferred Education/Experience Earned doctorate in the desired business field of study with a master's and undergraduate degree in the same or very similar field of study. All degrees conferred by an AACSB or ACBSP accredited institution. Two or more years of teaching experience at the higher education level. Three or more years of upper-level managerial experience. Industry relevant certification(s).
