Yes Department Overview The Department of Pediatrics at OHSU seeks a per diem, board-certified/board-eligible pediatrician to provide 24/7 inpatient care coverage at Hillsboro Medical Center (HMC), which includes a 8-bed level II NICU and inpatient pediatrics, guiding neonatal resuscitation and management of acute newborn needs, providing well newborn care, and consulting in the ED for pediatric patients. This provider should be experienced and comfortable with neonatal resuscitations following Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) guidelines. Function/Duties of Position Provide inpatient care coverage at Hillsboro Medical Center's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This position works with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to neonatology patients. Administrative and other duties may be assigned based on department needs and areas of expertise and interest. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications MD / DO Active Oregon Medical License Completed Pediatric residency Demonstrated ability to work with a team of health care providers and collaborate to achieve patient care goals. Experience working in an interdisciplinary setting. Communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other clinicians in the work unit. Additional Details •Apply here online.
