Oct 27, 2027 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS). Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates must be board certified and trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology and have formal fellowship training in MIGS. Teaching responsibilities may include training and supervision of Ob Gyn residents and medical students. Teaching Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery fellows is in the near future as well. Clinical responsibilities may include gynecologic care and minimally invasive surgery. Our growing practice provides multidisciplinary care of patients with complex conditions such as:
  • Fibroids and abnormal uterine bleeding,
  • Chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis and
  • Abnormal placentation and complex ectopic pregnancies.
The MIGS surgeons at Penn Medicine provide expertise in multiple surgical modalities such as laparoscopy, robotics, and operative hysteroscopy. Candidates will join a cadre of surgeons at Penn Medicine who are nationally known for their surgical expertise, education and innovation.
