Job Description

The Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging at the University of Virginia is seeking a full-time Thoracic Radiologist to join the growing Section of Thoracic Imaging. Primary duties for this position will include reading all thoracic-related studies, including plain films, CTs, and MRIs. The selected candidate will have an opportunity to work some days remotely from home, including remote weekend call. The Thoracic Imaging Section currently consists of six radiologists within a larger Division of Body Imaging Division and has active research and fellowship programs. The Section provides all adult thoracic imaging, including oncologic work, high-resolution CT, thoracopulmonary MR, and lung cancer screening, and will be implementing a clinical hyperpolarized gas lung imaging program to complement its research program in this arena.
