Job Description
The Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership is a tenure-track faculty position responsible for advancing teaching, research, and service within the Department of Educational Leadership. The position emphasizes expertise in digital technology, instructional design, and innovative learning environments in P-12 and/or higher education contexts. The faculty member will develop and deliver high-quality undergraduate and/or graduate courses, maintain an active and productive research agenda aligned with educational leadership or educational technology, and contribute to shared governance, program development, accreditation support, and institutional service. This role supports the university's mission through effective instruction, scholarly engagement, and professional collaboration.
D in Educational Le adership with a technology focus, Educational Technologies, Instructional Design & Technology, or a closely related field. Evidence of expertise and/or experience in P-12 or Higher Ed digital technology.

Develop and deliver undergraduate and/or graduate level courses in the assigned discipline, utilizing effective teaching strategies and technologies to promote student learning and engagement. Maintain regular office hours to provide academic support and advice to students.Research and Scholarly Activity:
Conduct research and scholarly activities in the faculty member's area of expertise, including publishing in peer-reviewed journals, presenting at professional conferences, and seeking external funding where applicable. Contribute to the advance of knowledge within the discipline.Service and Professional Engagement:
Participate in departmental, college, and university committees, as well as professional organizations. Engage in activities that support the mission of the university, including community outreach, curriculum development, and program assessment.Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D or Ed.D in Educational Le adership with a technology focus, Educational Technologies, Instructional Design & Technology, or a closely related field. Evidence of expertise and/or experience in P-12 or Higher Ed digital technology.

Prior experience in P-12, Higher Ed.Key Competencies:
Expertise in online education and course development, including the design and delivery of high-quality digital learning experiences that meet graduate-level standards. Experience or expertise in P-12 or higher education. Experience in use of instructional technology. Understands Best Practices in Technology. Experience with innovative technologies. Demonstrated potential to engage in scholarly work that aligns with educational leadership or educational technology. Commitment to service and leadership within the department, college, and university, contributing to shared governance, program development, and institutional advancement.Physical Requirements:
The tenure-track Assistant Professor position requires the ability to communicate effectively in lectures, meetings, and office hours, as well as visual acuity for reading printed and digital materials, grading, and using computer systems. The role involves manual dexterity for typing, writing, and handling teaching materials, along with mobility to move between classrooms, offices, and meeting spaces. Occasional lifting of items such as books, laptops, or teaching equipment (typically under 20 pounds) may be necessary. The position also requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods during lectures, research, and office work.Job Conditions:
