The Department is seeking applicants with a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree who will be expected to establish independent extramural funding, which may be supplemented by departmental funds. This position is for a Research Faculty on Ophthalmology. Duties include maintaining extramural funding, which may be supplemented by a significant departmental endowment and research funds. Ability and willingness to collaborate with other faculty members working on the pathobiology and retinal degeneration (e.g., AMO), ocular surface diseases, and corneal diseases, and corneal cell biology.
