Job Description

Description The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, a nationally recognized center of excellence in patient care, education, and research, is currently recruiting an orthopaedic total joints surgeon. UT Southwestern is ranked as a high-performing orthopaedic hospital and the top-ranked orthopaedic hospital in the 4th largest Metroplex in the United States. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery and eligible for a Texas Medical License. This is a unique opportunity for an orthopaedic surgeon to help lead and build a busy academic practice with outstanding outcomes, education, and research. Successful candidates will be committed to patient care, resident, fellow, and medical student education, and scholarly activities that advance clinical medicine. Key Duties Leader in total joint arthroplasty Support a multi-discipline team to advance the clinical volume and the outreach of UT Southwestern Orthopedic Surgery in the DFW Metroplex Maximize the patient outcomes and satisfaction in the in-patient and in the outpatient settings Support the Mission of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery in the highest clinical quality, in teaching and training, and in achieving the highest recognition at the national and international level Qualifications Candidates must be board-certified or eligible for Orthopaedic Surgery and a Texas Medical License.
