The College for Health, Community and Policy UTSA's College for Health, Community and Policy (HCAP) trains students to develop solutions for complex social issues to improve the well-being of our communities. The college is comprised of seven academic departments and one program —criminology and criminal justice, kinesiology, nutrition and dietetics, psychology, public administration, public health, social work and sociology and demography —as well as the Center for Applied Community and Policy Research, the Center for Community Based and Applied Health Research, the Institute for Demographic and Socioeconomic Research and the Institute for Health Disparities Research. Nutrition and Dietetics Program The Nutrition and Dietetic Program in the College for Health, Community and Policy at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) houses the Coordinated Program in Dietetics and the Nutrition and Health bachelor's degree. Additionally, the program offers an undergraduate Nutrition for Health Professionals Certificate and a graduate Community Nutrition Certificate.Salary Range:

Full Time Position Summary The Nutrition and Dietetic program is considering applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Practice to teach for the Coordinated Program in Dietetics and Nutrition and Health bachelor's degree for a period of one year with potential for extension. Qualifications Required Qualifications Master's degree in Nutrition (or related field). Teaching experience in post-secondary educational settings. This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure. Preferred Qualifications Teaching and/or work experiences in the fields of public health nutrition, food production and management, and food science. Experience with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard). Registered dietitian credential or eligible to take the dietetic registration examination.
