Minimum Requirements:
Master's in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field. Optionally, a candidate may have a Master's Degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Computer Science or a related field.
Work Schedule:
Schedule to be determined by Dean of Business and Career Professions in accordance with the Faculty Load Policy. This is an on-site position. Essential duties of the role must be performed in-person, during prescribed work hours. Position Summary & Essential Duties The following duties and responsibilities, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's), and physical requirements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. SUMMARY:
Under direct supervision of the Dean of Business and Career Professions, the incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of the program, including the organization, administration, continuous review, planning, development, and general effectiveness of the Computer Information Systems program as well as teach Computer Information System classes. Evidence and demonstration of proficiency in instructional methodology, curriculum design, and program planning are required. Qualifications (Required and Preferred) Master's in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field. Optionally, a candidate may have a Master's Degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Computer Science or a related field.
PREFERRED
Professional experience with information systems, programming, software development, or cyber security functions within a business setting.

None Job Duties and Responsibilities The incumbent will: Provide leadership to ensure program rigor, academic standards, and continuous curriculum improvement in alignment with industry needs and institutional goals. Hire, evaluate, mentor, and support departmental faculty. Foster collegiality, instructional excellence, and student engagement within the department. Develop, assess, and report annual departmental goals and core curriculum outcomes data. Develop and manage the departmental budget, including oversight of financial and equipment resources. Create and manage course schedules aligned with established academic pathways and institutional scheduling practices. Lead departmental recruitment, enrollment, and retention initiatives. Build and sustain collaborative partnerships that enhance faculty development, student learning experiences, and employment opportunities. Advocate for departmental needs with college administration. Utilize emerging technologies and best practices to enhance instructional delivery and program effectiveness. Maintain accessibility to students for advisement and consultation. Demonstrate professionalism and effective communication with supervisors, colleagues, students, and external partners. Participate in institutional committees, community engagement activities, and professional development opportunities. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design. Knowledge of teaching and instruction for individuals and groups. Knowledge of pedagogical practices relevant to discipline. Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and departmental strategies. Knowledge of the appropriate subject matter and the application of the subject matter for the respective discipline.

PHYSICAL EFFORT
Primarily light physical activity is required with occasional lifting and manipulation of objects up to 25 pounds. Keyboarding and computer use. Use of Audio/Visual equipment or equipment in an instructional setting.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is normally performed in an interior/office work environment. Travel to offsite centers may be required.
