Job Description

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OR PRACTITIONER IN RESIDENCE OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
Nolen School of Business ⪻ofessional Studies Faculty Member Bridgewater College, Nolen School and the Department of Economics and BusinessAdministration seeks a full-time 9-month tenure-track assistant professor or non-tenure track practitioner in residence of BusinessAdministration beginning August 17, 2026. Successful candidates will have an MBA or master's in a closely related field andverifiable work experience in the accounting field. Preference will be given to candidates who have a certified public accounting credentialand a Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Business or closely related field and who can demonstrate successful teaching experience, the ability to work in ateam environment, and the ability to relate their professional experience and knowledge to the needs and interests of students in a smallcollege environment. Responsibilities include the ability to teach undergraduate-level courses in accounting and finance as well as othercourses that align with the candidate's expertise and department's needs. Additional responsibilities will include recruiting, advising, andmentoring students; assessment and continuous improvement of the departmental programs; participating in departmental and committeeassignments; and maintaining personal service and scholarship (if seeking a tenure-track position). Pay is offered at acompetitive salary. This full-time 9-month position offers a full benefits package, including paid tuition at BC or at other selectparticipating institutions for eligible dependents.
