We invite applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position in the Bachelor's Degree Program in Intelligence Analysis (IA) within the School of Integrated Sciences (SIS). SIS supports innovative and dynamic academic careers for 40 faculty rooted in our constituent undergraduate programs- Geography, Integrated Science and Technology (ISAT), and Intelligence Analysis

- of teaching and research, of disciplines, of difference.
Duties and Responsibilities:
For this visiting position, we are looking for candidates who are well prepared to teach courses that focus on applied technology (specifically data visualization for analysts), and specialty courses depending on the faculty member's expertise potentially to include but not limited to:- cyber security/cyber intelligence analysis;
- geospatial analysis;
- an introduction to and/or advanced courses in analysis in military, law enforcement, or private sector contexts;
- systems dynamics in applied security contexts;
- or professional skills in communicating analysis effectively to include verbally and visually/graphically.

Qualifications:
For this position, a Ph.D. in a relevant academic field is preferred. OR a minimum of a master's degree with substantial, demonstrated experience as an analyst. We welcome applicants from any academic discipline (to include the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences) and/or any professional analytical background in the public or private sectors that enables them to speak with credibility about the process of doing analysis. We are particularly interested in individuals who:- have a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, research, and one-on-one professional mentoring for future analysts
- demonstrate an ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- have the ability to incorporate technology in teaching and student research.
