Division of Pediatric Endocrinology Position Summary:
The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children's Wisconsin (CW), are excited to announce an opening for a BC/BE pediatric endocrinologist to join our esteemed team. Primary clinical responsibilities at Children's Wisconsin Appleton Clinic and the Ashwaubenon Clinic (near Green Bay) Join the faculty of the Medical College of Wisconsin/ Children's Wisconsin pediatric endocrinology and diabetes division Practice partners in the Northeast Wisconsin region are comprised of an experienced Pediatric Endocrinologist and three Advanced Practitioners, providing a supportive and collegial team environment. Along with the providers, our team includes experienced diabetes educators, endocrine nurses, dieticians, social work, and child-life specialists Academic engagement through participation in weekly virtual departmental academic conference, virtual attendance of grand rounds presentation, among other opportunities available Access to robust research infrastructure and support for scholarly activity Career development resources tailored to individual interests and goals Opportunities to pursue subspecialty interests within a flexible and collaborative division Performs other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate. The division includes 11 pediatric endocrinologists and 6 advanced practice providers. In addition, the division includes three Type 1 diabetes basic science research faculty. We serve children of Northeast and Southeast Wisconsin and beyond. Children's Wisconsin Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes Program provides care for children and teens with diabetes and endocrine disorders from general pediatric endocrine conditions to sub-specialized, interdisciplinary clinics for rare/ complex conditions. The Diabetes Program at Children's Wisconsin is one of the largest in the country, serving more than 2000 children with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, offering clinical trials, diabetes prevention clinics, and a screening program for siblings of children with type 1 diabetes. Our Endocrinology and Diabetes program is named among the nation's best in U.S. s & World Report's 2024-25 Best Children's Hospital report. Qualifications Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent)from an accredited institution. Board certification or eligibility in endocrinology. State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin. Rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful finalist.
