Position Highlights:

Primary clinical responsibilities at Children's Wisconsin Appleton Clinic Practice partners comprised of five Ophthalmologists and five Optometrist providing a supportive and collegial team environment Academic engagement through participation in weekly departmental academic conference, virtual attendance of grand rounds presentation, among other opportunities available Access to robust research infrastructure and support for scholarly activity Career development resources tailored to individual interests and goals Opportunities to pursue subspecialty interests within a flexible and collaborative division The role is employed by theMedical College of Wisconsinand provides care atChildren's Wisconsinlocations in Northeast Wisconsin. Both organizations are based in the Milwaukee area. The Medical College of Wisconsin pediatric specialty providers who work at the nationally ranked Children's Wisconsin are members of Children's Specialty Group, a strong group practice of more than 775 elite pediatric specialty physicians, advanced practice nurses and physician assistants. Connected for Kids This position is located in Northeast Wisconsin as part of an innovative collaboration between Children's Wisconsin,Bellin HealthandThedaCare. These top-quality health care organizations are partnering to improve the health and well-being of children and adolescents in Northeast Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan through a collaboration calledConnected for Kids. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with primary and specialty care providers at these organizations to improve patient outcomes. Our Eye Program at Children's Wisconsin proudly treats more than 12,000 children each year.
