7 Wauwatosa, WI Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Doctor of Psychology Patients with traumatic brain injuries Working with individuals with mental health conditions Doctoral degree in psychology Full Job Description The Wisconsin Institute for Neuroscience (WINS) Building Resilience through Action in Veterans and First Responders (BRAVE) Program is currently seeking a Psychologist. This position will have an appointment as Faculty in Psychiatry. The Psychologist will serve as an independent healthcare provider of clinical psychology with specialized knowledge in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients mild to moderate TBI and behavioral health comorbidities; older patients may have neurodegenerative disorders complicating their presentation.
Opportunity:
Conduct outpatient psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients in the program. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of Veterans and First Responders with mTBI. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and integration of mental health services. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address behavioral health symptoms associated with mTBI and associated symptoms. Actively consulting with, interacting with, and assisting with or co-treating patients and family members during the rehabilitation process in collaboration with the entire interdisciplinary team. Conducting individual and group therapy, behavioral interventions, and intervention with families as part of an interdisciplinary team treatment approach. Opportunity is located at

Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD) from an accredited program. Experience in psychological assessment and treatment of individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Active Wisconsin License or the ability to obtain Rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful finalist.
Preferred Experience:
Experience working with Veteran and Military communities with appropriate cultural competence. Experience working with individuals with addiction, substance use/abuse, sleep problems and/or chronic pain. Past Military Service Preferred Procedure for
