Typical Duties Prepare classroom presentations and student assignments. Prepare course syllabi, which includes course requirements, attendance requirements, grading criteria and office hours to students in writing. Keep grade and attendance records and prepare required reports consistent with college policy; submit grade reports to the Registrar, as directed. Requires technology skills sufficient to operate a Learning Management System in order to meet all reporting deadlines as prescribed by college policy and procedures. Attend adjunct faculty meetings as scheduled. Learn and correctly apply college policies and procedures. Carry out assigned responsibilities in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local statutes and the college's philosophies, policies, procedures and regulations. Perform teaching duties and work non-traditional hours, as needed. Communicate effectively. Demonstrate a commitment to student academic success and adult learning concepts. Remain current in practices, trends and research related to areas of specialization or assignment. Adhere to class schedules. Meet attendance standards and work additional hours, as needed. Maintain confidentiality relating to student matters. Participate in college, campus and department evaluation processes. Interact constructively with full-time faculty. Be available for student interaction Qualifications Applicants must meet education and/or experience minimum qualifications as indicated: Faculty Qualifications . NOTE:

Applicants qualified for the applicant pool will remain active for 12 months. After 12 months, applicants not offered an assignment will be inactivated and will need to submit a completely new application, including transcripts.
Part-Time Faculty:
$870 per load hour (minimum enrollment of 9 students)
