Anticipated Start Date:
August 2026 Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities Deliver teaching excellence for 9 hours per semester in communication courses consistent with our organizational communication curriculum and serve as the Basic Course Director. Courses taught may include public speaking, interpersonal, persuasion, conflict and other courses in our curriculum. As Basic Course Director, responsibilities will include the coordination of our Introduction to Public Speaking and Introduction to Interpersonal Communication courses, including but not limited to curriculum, delivery, and coordination of instructors for the basic courses in conjunction with the department chair and faculty. Duties will also include advising students, providing service, and delivering instruction in traditional as well as alternative and online formats. Minimum Education Requirements Master's degree in Organizational Communication, Communication Studies, or a related field is required. Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements Evidence of college teaching excellence, strong classroom skills, and a strong commitment to service and student advising are required. Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications College teaching experience in mass-lecture, self-contained and alternative instructional delivery methods is preferred.
Annual Salary:
$41,296 (Additional pay dependent upon qualifications)
