Job Description

Department of Communication Open rank tenure-track faculty position in Interpersonal Communication We seek a scholar of interpersonal communication who conducts applied empirical research in complex social and relational contexts. We welcome applicants who approach their scholarship from a diverse range of empirical perspectives. Responsibilities of the position include undergraduate and graduate teaching, an active program of research in the candidate's area of expertise, and service contributions in accordance with university policy. A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant field is expected by June 2027 for a September 2027 start date. Applicants should have a demonstrated record or strong likelihood of top-tier peer-reviewed publication and evidence of, or preparation for, effective teaching.
