Description:
The Jack J. Valenti School of Communication at the University of Houston offers a broad range of undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Advertising, Corporate Communication, Health Communication, Integrated Communication, Interpersonal Communication, Journalism-Print, Journalism-Broadcast, Media Production, Media Studies and Public Relations. Interested and qualified candidates are invited to apply to be considered for these temporary, part-time positions as Lecturers. Please indicate the concentration area that you are interested in teaching. Lecturer appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis, based on student need. Complete applications should include the following: Cover Letter/Letter of Application, Curriculum Vitae and unofficial transcripts.
Qualifications:
Masters with professional experience will be considered; preferred candidates with PhD. Official transcripts are required for a faculty appointment and will be requested upon selection of the final candidates. All positions at the University of Houston are security sensitive and will require a criminal background check.
