CASUAL Description •Applicants seeking short-term or part-time work with the University Hawai'i may apply for Casual Hire positions, which include administrative, professional, and technical (APT) or instructional-type positions. The Information and Computer Science Department, College of Natural Sciences, University of Hawai`i at Manoa (Honolulu, Hawai'i) invites applicants to apply for the ICS Summer Lecturer, casual hire position. This is a full-time, temporary appointment, to begin May 26, 2026. Duties and Responsibilities Teach assigned lecture and/or lab courses for ICS 332 Duties include: (1) develop syllabus, (2) teach students, (3) grade exams and papers, (4) issue final grades. Perform related tasks as assigned Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's of Science degree from a college or university of recognized standing with major coursework emphasizing Computer Science or closely related field. Evidence of ability to teach effectively and to direct group discussions Poise and good address for meeting and conferring with others Desirable Qualifications A Master's of Science degree in Computer Science (or closely related discipline), At least 2 years prior experience teaching college-level courses.To Apply:
