Harvard University Position Details TitlePostdoctoral Fellowship Position in Visual Computing at Harvard UniversitySchoolHarvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied SciencesDepartment/AreaComputer SciencesPosition Description The Visual Computing Group (VCG) in the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) at Harvard University seeks postdoctoral fellows with a Ph.D. in computer science / engineering or a related field to work on varied research projects in visual computing. Potential candidates should possess a strong background in one or more fields related to computer graphics, visualization, or computer vision. In addition to working closely with scientists, engineers, and graduate students on research projects, the candidate is expected to actively participate in writing grant proposals. The position is available immediately. The initial term for this position is one year; reappointment for a second year is contingent upon funding. Basic Qualifications Doctorate or terminal degree in computer science / engineering by the time the appointment begins. Additional Qualifications Candidates should have a substantial publication history and good teamwork and communication skills. Strong software development experience is a plus. Special Instructions Application requirements include CV, cover letter, and three publications. Optional documents include a statement of teaching philosophy and/or statement of research.
