FullTime The College of Computing offers undergraduate majors in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, and Cybersecurity, several minors, and Masters degrees in Applied Computer Science, Data Science & Analytics, Cybersecurity, and Health Informatics & BioInformatics. The College of Computing has over 50 full-time faculty, 1100 undergraduate majors and 400 students in our graduate programs. The University has approximately 23,000 students. The Grand Valley campuses are located in Allendale and the greater Grand Rapids area, which is the second largest metropolitan area in Michigan. The College of Computing at Grand Valley State University invites applications for affiliate faculty positions. Applicants must have a minimum of Master's degree in computer science or related fields with preference to candidates with a PhD degree. The start date for this position is Fall 2026.Salary & Benefits:
Minimum starting salary of $65,000, commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, life insurance, generous employer retirement contributions, wellness resources and tuition waiver effective on date of hire.Primary Duties:
Teach undergraduate or graduate courses in the College of Computing Other responsibilities include membership on College of Computing shared governance committee(s) as well as other forms of community service.Required Qualifications and Education:
Master's Degrees (or higher) in Computer Science or related fields. Experience in teaching courses at the undergraduate or graduate level in computing. Ability to teach diverse core and applied computer science courses. Excellent written and oral communication skills.Preferred Qualifications and Education:
PhD in Computer Science or related fields. Previous teaching experience in areas of interest related to Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity or core/basic Computer Science courses.Working Conditions:
