The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop technical, problem-solving, and professional skills needed for success in information technology careers and postsecondary pathways. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver rigorous, engaging instruction in Information Technology and related courses; Teach topics such as: Computer Science Principles, algorithms, programming, computation Integrate project-based learning and real-world applications into instruction. Support students in earning industry-recognized certifications when applicable. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment. Collaborate with counselors, administrators to support academy goals. Advise and mentor students regarding college and career pathways in technology fields. Track student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies. Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school activities. Qualifications Valid NJ state teaching certification/licensure (or eligibility for certification). Experience with instructional technology and digital learning platforms. Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills. Experience teaching high school CTE or computer science courses.
